An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager to join a leading High Voltage installation contractor delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing vocational training, supporting apprentices and experienced engineers, and ensuring high standards of competency across the workforce.
You will play a key role in delivering a Level 3 Substation Fitter qualification, working closely with learners to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver structured vocational and technical training to engineers and apprentices
- Conduct on-site assessments and support learners through NVQ qualifications
- Mentor, coach and develop individuals at varying experience levels
- Ensure training delivery aligns with industry standards and compliance requirements
- Support the continuous improvement of training programmes
- Travel to sites across the UK to engage directly with the workforce
- A1 Assessor / CAVA qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with NVQs or apprenticeship programmes
- Exposure to High Voltage / Substation environments
- Ex-forces background (e.g. Royal Engineers, Navy, RAF engineering roles)
