Job Title: Fish Processing Operative

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Saturday work required depending on production volumes
Variable start and finish times based on business needs
Typical start time: 6:00am 7:00am
Typical finish time: 3:00pm 5:00pm
Working hours will be communicated by management in advance.
About the Role We are currently recruiting Fish Processing Operatives to join a busy seafood processing facility in Cornwall (PL26) . This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities Gutting and processing octopus
Grading seafood products
Washing and processing scallops
Packing and boxing fish to meet customer specifications
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
Following company health and safety procedures
Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
Carrying out general production and processing duties as required
Candidate Requirements Previous food production or fish processing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
Able to work Saturdays when required
Good attention to detail
Able to work effectively as part of a team
