Location: Bugle, Cornwall

Pay rate: £14.18- £15.23 per hour

Weekly and Monthly Pay available!

Shift pattern: Days 08:00 - 20:00, Sleep In Shifts 20:00 - 08:00, Wake In Nights 20:00 - 08:00

Hours: bank

Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (essential you'll enjoy trips out & driving the clients vehicle!)

We are looking for caring, reliable and confident Male Support Workers to join our team supporting an individual living in their own home in Bugle, in the St. Austell area. This person has Autism and Learning disability.

This gentleman loves classic cars and even collecting miniature models of them. He loves music and classic TV shows. He also enjoys the 60's & 70's culture, so bring your vibrant personality with you to match!

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing high-quality support on a 2:1 basis
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
  • Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
  • Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in Autism
  • Behaviours that may be perceived as challenging
  • Mental Health support

Just as important is your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and build positive, trusting relationships.
