Due to continued business growth, a national Water Hygiene specialist is recruiting for their team in the South East of England. They are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer, who is well-versed in conducting ACOP L8 compliance duties. Ideally, applicants will have experience operating across a range of premises, including: commercial, local authority and public sector. Most works will be regional; however, we are seeking someone who is happy to travel in line with company needs, as our client holds a presence across the UK. The successful applicant can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Will understand the ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Able to work independently on site
- Good literacy and numeracy skill level
- Proficient using IT software
- Flexible to travel in line with company needs
The Role:
- Carrying out a wide range of pre-planned compliance tasks
- Showerhead and outlet descales
- TMV servicing, maintenance and failsafe checks
- Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
- Calorifier inspections
- Basic flushing on outlets
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Completing regular service reports
- Working within agreed timeframes
