Our client, a prestigious luxury hotel in Hertfordshire, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven hospitality sales professional to play a key role in growing revenue across corporate and MICE markets. Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maximising sales performance across multiple market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and secure new corporate and MICE business opportunities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts to agreed revenue targets
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, business travel agents, and industry partners
- Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, trade shows, and client presentations
- Conduct sales calls, familiarisation trips, and client hospitality events
- Monitor account performance and implement action plans to maximise revenue
- Analyse competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities
- Support the completion of RFPs, contracts, rate negotiations, and account administration
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure exceptional client experiences
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous hotel sales experience, ideally within luxury hospitality
- Proven track record in corporate and MICE sales
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Commercially focused with a proactive approach to business development
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Confident representing the business at industry events and client meetings
- Full driving licence preferred due to client visits and local travel requirements
