Most graduate recruitment jobs teach you how to make calls. This one teaches you how to recruit senior leaders. Our client is an award-winning Executive Search consultancy specialising in Private Banking, Legal and Compliance. Working on retained assignments with fees reaching £150,000, they partner with some of the world's leading financial institutions and law firms to recruit senior professionals.

If you're ambitious, commercially minded and looking for a career with exceptional earning potential, first-class training and genuine progression, this is an outstanding opportunity to start your career.

About the opportunity

Executive Search is very different from traditional recruitment. Rather than working on high-volume vacancies, you'll manage specialist assignments, helping clients identify exceptional talent for senior leadership positions. You'll learn how to build relationships with senior professionals, understand niche markets and become a trusted adviser to both clients and candidates.

From the beginning, you'll work alongside experienced consultants and receive structured training delivered directly by the company's Directors, who have an excellent track record of developing graduates with no previous recruitment experience into top-performing Executive Search Consultants. You'll gain exposure to high-profile clients, work on complex recruitment projects and develop commercial skills that will benefit you throughout your career.

What's in it for you?

  • £27,000 basic salary
  • £50,000 OTE in your first year
  • Uncapped commission with exceptional long-term earning potential
  • Structured training academy delivered by the Directors
  • Clear career progression based on performance
  • Monthly team incentives including cocktail making, paintball, axe throwing, cinema nights and more
  • Company holidays and team trips
  • Luxury incentives including Selfridges vouchers, £1,000 Bicester Village shopping sprees and prizes worth up to £10,000
  • EMI Share Scheme
  • Character offices close to St Albans town centre with free parking
  • Early finish Fridays for top performers
  • Christmas and New Year office closure
  • Birthday half-day and increasing annual leave for every year of service
  • Friendly, supportive culture with a genuine focus on personal development

What you'll be doing

  • Building relationships with professionals across Private Banking, Legal and Compliance
  • Sourcing, interviewing and managing high-calibre candidates
  • Managing the full recruitment process from initial contact through to successful placement
  • Arranging interviews and managing candidate and client feedback
  • Conducting market mapping and executive search projects
  • Identifying new business opportunities through networking and market intelligence
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates
  • Developing into a specialist Executive Search Consultant

Who they're looking for

This role is ideal for graduates who are looking for a long-term career within a professional, high-performance environment. You'll be:

  • Degree educated
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and commercially minded
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Resilient and comfortable working towards targets
  • Interested in sales, finance or business
  • Someone who enjoys building long-term relationships
  • Keen to develop into a successful Executive Search Consultant

Previous sales experience is an advantage but isn't essential. The business is far more interested in your attitude, ambition and willingness to learn. If you're graduating in the next few months, we'd still love to hear from you.

Why choose Executive Search?

Executive Search is one of the most rewarding areas of recruitment. You'll work with senior professionals, develop an impressive commercial network and build specialist expertise within a high-value market. Your progression is based on your performance, giving you the opportunity to increase both your responsibility and earnings far quicker than in many traditional graduate careers.

If you're looking for a Graduate Recruitment Consultant job, Graduate Executive Search role, Trainee Recruitment Consultant position, or an entry-level sales career with exceptional training and uncapped earning potential, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today to begin your Executive Search career.
