Are you one to two years out of university and ready to move into a commercial role with genuine ownership, a real target and serious earning potential?

This is not an entry-level scheme.

It is a revenue-generating role for ambitious people who want responsibility, autonomy and progression.

You don't need sales experience but you do need to be articulate, target-driven, quick to learn and comfortable in a busy and energetic office.

Those are the people who do well here and earn the most.

The Role As a Sponsorship Sales Executive at Global Insight Conferences, you will take ownership of revenue across our conference portfolio, selling sponsorship packages to senior decision-makers in the UK and internationally.

You will build, manage and close your own pipeline: identifying opportunities, developing relationships, negotiating commercial agreements and delivering revenue.

This is a consultative B2B sales role that rewards structure, resilience and commercial awareness.

You will sit alongside some of the most experienced people in the industry, which is the fastest way to learn this side of the business.

Key Responsibilities Build and manage a structured, high-value sponsorship pipeline Proactively engage senior decision-makers (CMOs, directors and heads of department) by phone, Linked In, email and video call Identify and research high-growth sectors and target organisations aligned to our event portfolio Design and pitch tailored sponsorship packages built around client objectives Negotiate commercial terms and close deals Attend events to manage sponsor and exhibitor relationships and identify upsell opportunities Account manage and grow existing sponsor partnerships Work with our production and marketing teams to strengthen event positioning and value proposition Who We're Looking For This role suits people who: Are one to two years out of university with demonstrable professional experience, or have worked in a target-driven or commercially focused environment Are ambitious, highly professional and credible in front of clients Are comfortable speaking with senior professionals and influencing decisions Want a performance-based environment with genuine earning potential You will stand out if you have: High levels of self-motivation and professionalism Strong organisational discipline and consistent follow-up Confidence on the phone and in video meetings Commercial awareness and curiosity about how different industries work High personal standards and resilience under pressure We are looking for people who are serious about building a long-term commercial career.

Training and Progression Your first week is structured training, not shadowing.

You'll learn the portfolio, how sponsorship packages are built and priced, who buys them and why, and how to run a call from opening to close.

You'll spend time with the production team so you understand the events you're selling, and you'll sit in on live calls with senior members of the team before you make your own.

After that it's hands-on, but not alone.

You'll have regular one-to-ones with your manager, your early deals will be worked alongside someone experienced, and you'll be sitting in an office with people who have been doing this for years and are three feet away.

From there, a defined route into Senior Sponsorship Executive and Sponsorship Manager, typically within 18 months for people hitting target.

About Global Insight Conferences Global Insight Conferences is a market-leading B2B events company delivering high-level conferences across major industry sectors.

We combine commercial ambition with ethical values, long-term client relationships and clear career progression.
