About our Nursery: Busy Bees Southwell is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 48, located just a short drive from Southwell town centre. The nursery features three separate childcare rooms tailored to different age groups—babies, toddlers, and pre-school children—each offering a safe and nurturing environment. With bright, airy decor, the nursery provides a welcoming space for children to begin their educational journey. Learning is not confined to indoors, as the nursery boasts a secure outdoor area with fun equipment like slides, seesaws, and ride-on cars, allowing children to explore and play in a stimulating environment. Role Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
- Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
Required Qualifications: What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
- Experience working with children under 5.
- Empathy and understanding that each child is unique.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
