Electrical Technician (Aviation Components - MRO)
This is a hands-on, workshop based, role focused on the testing, repair and overhaul of electrical aviation components , working to OEM instructions and maintaining strict safety, quality and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
Test, repair and overhaul a range of electrical aircraft components in line with OEM manuals and instructions .
Follow and maintain quality standards, procedures and documentation requirements.
Promote and maintain a safe, legally compliant workshop environment, including completing risk assessments .
Produce workshop reports and material reviews to support customer estimates via Purchasing and Commercial teams.
Support continuous improvement by helping introduce new capability and identifying ways to reduce cost and turnaround time .
Build strong internal/customer relationships by understanding requirements and ensuring these are met or exceeded.
Carry out other duties within your capabilities as directed.
Essential skills & experience
Understanding of component MRO delivery under EASA Part 145 requirements.
Background in an electrical aviation environment (similar role experience preferred).
Competent with MS Office and comfortable using business systems/processes.
Ability to interpret manuals and accurately record inspection findings.
Strong planning/organisation, excellent communication, team-focused approach.
High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
