Driver Hire Southampton is looking for reliable and professional van drivers to join our team for flexible, ad-hoc work across the SO postcode. We work with a wide range of local businesses, including builders' merchants, electrical suppliers, food distributors and other commercial clients. With a variety of assignments available, you'll enjoy a mix of work including multi-drop deliveries, vehicle movements and local distribution. If you have previous multi-drop experience, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Flexible, ad-hoc shifts on a 0-hour contract
  • Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work available
  • Typical start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
  • A variety of local and longer-distance delivery routes
  • Some assignments may require a DBS check

What we're looking for:

  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience
  • Load-strapping experience is desirable
  • Good level of physical fitness and confidence with manual handling
  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
  • Own transport is essential due to varying client locations
