Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Dolphin Homes is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team at The Laurels, our residential service in Hedge End, Southampton, supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Senior Support Worker at The Laurels, you will not only provide direct, hands-on support to the individuals we care for, but also play a key leadership role within the team. No two days are the same, and your contribution will be felt by both the people we support and the colleagues you help to guide.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and supporting daily routines
- Coordinating and contributing to individual care plans
- Mentoring and supporting newer members of the care team
- Ensuring the smooth running of the service day to day
- Acting as the key link between the care team and management
- Assisting with dietary plans and individual needs
- Teaching life skills to promote independence
- Supporting individuals within the local Hedge End and Southampton community
- Accompanying service users on activities and outings
