Are you an experienced Office & Facilities Manager who is proactive, practical and confident dealing with contractors and day-to-day workplace issues? A growing UK business is looking for a hands-on Office & Facilities Manager to take ownership of the smooth running of its head office, showroom and surrounding site. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys getting things organised, solving problems and simply making things happen. Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office and workplace environment.
Manage contractors, suppliers and maintenance providers confidently and professionally.
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, following issues through to resolution.
Support the caretaker and contractors with practical site requirements when needed.
Maintain office supplies, including ensuring the kitchen and communal areas are well stocked.
Manage meeting rooms, office equipment, IT equipment, post and deliveries.
Oversee workplace health & safety requirements, inspections and contractor documentation.
Coordinate company vehicles, office events and general administrative requirements.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Have previous Office Manager, Facilities Manager or similar experience.
Demonstrate strong experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
Possess a practical understanding of facilities and workplace maintenance.
Take a proactive, hands-on approach and confidently resolve problems.
Manage multiple priorities without needing constant direction.
Demonstrate excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Communicate confidently with contractors, employees and senior stakeholders.
Bring an energetic, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
The successful Office & Facilities Manager will be a genuine go-getter – someone who takes ownership, says "yes" to a challenge and works out the best way to deliver it.
This is an initial 2–3 month contract, with the possibility of extension, starting in early September 2026.
