Pay: £14.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 Weeks)
Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £32,300 per annum (depending on experience)
This is a varied role, with the majority of your time spent operating a counterbalance forklift and supporting warehouse operations. You'll also provide relief driving cover and support delivery teams during periods of holiday, absence or increased workload, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is looking to develop their career.
The Role
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
- Moving stock between warehouse locations
- Replenishing stock and maintaining accurate inventory
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Supporting delivery drivers or working as a driver's mate when required
- Delivering excellent customer service during deliveries
What We're Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience
- Comfortable with manual handling (up to 25kg)
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with a positive, flexible attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to support different areas of the business when required
