Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established wholesale distribution clients for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Multi-Drop Driver.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and friendly team, delivering food and drink products to retail and catering customers across the local region.

The Class 2 (Cat C)

Role:
Monday to Friday
Start time is 05:00am
38 hours per week
Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores, convenience shops, and catering customers
Driving on a modern 26-tonne Class 2 vehicle

Your

Responsibilities:
Safely complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries while providing outstanding customer service.

Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects.

Load and unload deliveries using tail lifts and manual handling equipment where required.

Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery (POD).

Follow planned routes while complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.

Maintain high standards of road safety, professionalism, and vehicle cleanliness.

Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
