TLP Recruitment Southampton are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to support a number of well-established transport and logistics clients across Southampton and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for trunking, RDC work, container movements or general haulage, we have a variety of ongoing night driving opportunities to suit experienced Class 1 drivers.
The Role
- Depot-to-depot trunking
- RDC deliveries and collections
- General haulage
- Container movements
- Refrigerated transport
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Delivering freight safely, professionally and on time
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Container or dock experience advantageous for some assignments
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and tachograph legislation
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
