Our client in Reading is looking for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior to become part of their expanding audit team. As an Audit Semi Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments while supporting and mentoring junior team members. You will gain exposure to a diverse client base across multiple sectors and work closely with managers and partners in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a broad portfolio of clients
- Taking responsibility for supervising and supporting junior members of the team
- Attending and contributing to post-audit client meetings
- Supporting the training and development of trainee accountants
- Reviewing and maintaining client files to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified
- Previous experience assisting on external audit assignments is essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident working within a fast-paced practice environment
- Experience with accounting and audit software, including Caseware, would be advantageous
