Our mission is to provide efficient, sustainable, and innovative solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. Wrightbus Refurbishment supports Wrightbus as the fastest growing manufacturing company in Europe. We are therefore recruiting a General Operative for the Southam, Warwickshire site. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior, ensuring the vehicle is presentable, safe and ready for daily operations.
Key Tasks:
- Clean bus interiors, including seats, floors, windows, handrails and driver areas.
- Wash and polish bus exteriors.
- Remove rubbish and dispose of waste properly.
- Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and or hand tools associated with the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for compliance with company's health and safety policy and procedures.
- Undertake training or retraining associated with the post, or the introduction of the new working practices.
- Willing to train others as required.
General:
- Undertake all duties in line with General Data Protection and maintain upmost level of confidentiality.
- Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
- Ensure that you treat those in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the Dignity at Work Procedure.
- You must comply with the no smoking policy.
Key Requirements:
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous cleaning or vehicle cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Good time management skills.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Wednesday 07:30 - 18:00 Thursday 07:30 - 17:00
