We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality components for the automotive and aerospace sectors.

The successful candidate will be confident setting and operating CNC turning machines, ensuring parts are manufactured to specification and maintaining high quality standards throughout production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating CNC turning machines.
  • Setting tooling and making offsets where required.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Producing precision components to tight tolerances.
  • Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator.
  • Experience setting tooling and machine offsets.
  • Mazak machine experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience within the automotive and/or aerospace industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
