Role Purpose
Lead, coach and support the Spa & Wellbeing team to ensure the successful day-to-day running of the operations. Residents' satisfaction is paramount with a strong emphasis on creating memorable experiences through friendly, efficient and genuine service. Be the main point of contact for residents and collect first-hand feedback to ensure we always improve on our offerings and services.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead the day-to-day Spa & Wellbeing operation, ensuring exceptional standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and resident experience in a luxury residential environment.
- Act as an ambassador for LODHA Hospitality, creating a warm, welcoming, discreet and highly personalised experience for residents and their guests.
- Lead, coach and develop the Spa & Wellbeing team, maintaining high standards of appearance, professionalism, service delivery and engagement.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective resource planning to support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Conduct daily briefings and regular team meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with departmental standards, SOPs and company values.
- Drive training, development, recognition and performance management to build a motivated, knowledgeable and high-performing team.
- Support recruitment, interviewing and selection of Spa & Wellbeing hosts.
- Maintain the Spa & Wellbeing facilities to an exceptional standard, working closely with Maintenance, Engineering and the Resident Manager on preventative maintenance and operational requirements.
- Develop and refresh sports, wellbeing and food & beverage offerings, menus and promotions, introducing new products and experiences that enhance the resident journey.
- Handle resident requests, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring positive outcomes and escalating where appropriate.
- Maintain a strong awareness of security, safety and compliance, ensuring all incidents, accidents and concerns are reported and managed appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety, fire safety, food safety and building safety requirements, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Building Safety Act 2022.
- Support the team in maintaining safe working practices and provide appropriate Health & Safety training, guidance and supervision.
- Work collaboratively with the wider LODHA Hospitality team and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the Resident Manager.
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- 3 years management experience within a luxury 4-5 star hotel, residential or hospitality environment.
- Strong luxury hospitality operations experience, ideally with exposure to restaurants and bars.
- Proven leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
- Strong commercial, business and financial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organised, well presented and attentive to detail.
- Strong commitment to service excellence and delivering a personalised resident/guest experience.
- Confident handling resident requests, feedback and complaints professionally and discreetly.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Proactive, driven and self-motivated, with a flexible and collaborative approach.
- Personable, empathetic, tactful and discreet, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management or a related discipline.
- Personal Licence holder.
- Experience in Spa, Sports & Wellbeing or fitness environments.
- Experience within a luxury private residential setting.
- Experience of a new opening or extensive refurbishment.
- Experience developing food & beverage, sports and wellbeing menus, promotions or new resident experiences.
- Knowledge of current luxury hospitality, wellbeing and lifestyle trends.
