A major UK contractor is delivering a large multi-building data centre development in West London, multiple data halls, high-voltage and medium-voltage energy centres, backup generation, and a secure reception facility. It's a high-spec environment where engineering governance genuinely matters.
As Project Engineering Manager, you'll own the technical assurance and engineering governance across the entire project. You'll be the person ensuring designs are buildable, compliant and coordinated, and that construction teams are working to approved information.

YOUR NEW ROLE
- Leading the engineering function across the project
- Setting engineering standards, governance and assurance processes
- Providing independent technical oversight and compliance checks
- Running buildability and constructability reviews
- Managing design interfaces, technical risks and engineering coordination
- Governing NCRs, technical deviations and corrective actions
- Driving continuous improvement and technical consistency
- Leading and developing Senior Engineers and wider engineering teams
ABOUT YOU
- Strong engineering leadership experience on major construction or infrastructure projects
- Background in technical assurance, governance and quality
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Solid understanding of design management, buildability and constructability
- Data centre experience is a bonus, not essential
- Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Chartered status desirable
- CSCS Manager Card
- Temporary Works experience
- NEC contract experience
