Hours: 5 days a week, 9:00am - 5:30pm (flexibility required), with a weekend duty management rota Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious luxury residential development in Central London.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a qualified engineer who enjoys carrying out reactive maintenance while overseeing the day-to-day engineering operation.
You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered to residents while managing contractors and supporting the wider building operations team.
Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the day-to-day engineering operation.
Carry out reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and diagnostics across the building.
Supervise and coordinate specialist contractors and maintenance works.
Manage two on-site subcontracted Residence Engineers and M&E contractors.
Plan, organise and monitor preventative maintenance programmes.
Ensure all statutory compliance and health & safety requirements are met.
Maintain excellent communication with residents, contractors and the building management team.
Support the General Manager with engineering operations and service delivery.
Participate in the weekend duty management rota with the other Team Leaders.
Requirements Proven engineering experience within luxury residential, 5-star hotel or high-end commercial environments.
HVAC qualification.
BMS knowledge and experience.
Plumbing qualification.
Electrical qualifications are highly desirable.
Knowledge of swimming pool plant would be advantageous Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Comfortable remaining hands-on while leading the engineering function.
Salary & Benefits £37,000 - £43,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. 5.6 weeks' annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays).
