Since opening its first office in November 1988, the business has grown significantly and now manages an extensive portfolio of residential properties and estates.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the company's excellent reputation, built on decades of local knowledge, professionalism, and recommendations from satisfied clients. Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and developments.
- Arranging repairs, maintenance, and planned works.
- Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring communal areas are well maintained.
- Preparing and managing service charge budgets.
- Working with contractors, obtaining quotations, and overseeing major works.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, fire risk assessments, and statutory requirements.
- Organising annual general meetings (AGMs) and attending residents' meetings.
- Liaising with leaseholders, freeholders, residents, and contractors to resolve issues promptly.
- Managing insurance claims and ensuring appropriate building insurance is in place.
- Handling complaints and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintaining accurate property records and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Previous experience in Block Management, property management, or a related field 2+ years.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
