A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a busy, supportive practice. This role is ideal for someone confident handling year-end work and a wide range of accounting tasks.
The Role: You will take ownership of key accounting duties and support a varied client portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Year-end accounts preparation, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
- Tax computations
- P11D's
- Payroll processing
- CIS returns
- Working across multiple accounting software packages: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
- Supporting clients and resolving queries in a timely manner
About You: You'll bring strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. You must have:
- Comprehensive accounting background
- Experience preparing year-end accounts
- Payroll and CIS knowledge
- Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice
You will be:
- QBE or Fully Qualified
- A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Preferably a car driver due to the office-based nature of the role
