Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Used Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our Audi team at our Solihull site. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30am - 1:00pm (41.5 hours per week).

As part of the Birmingham Audi Preparation Centre, you will play a key role in preparing used vehicles to Audi's high standards before delivery to customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out multipoint inspections
  • Routine servicing
  • Maintenance
  • Accessory fitting
  • Mechanical repairs

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive basic salary of £34,000 with an OTE of £42,000, plus an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on used vehicles to Audi standards
  • Perform mechanical repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Conduct visual inspections of vehicle exteriors and interiors
  • Fit approved accessories
  • Complete all relevant documentation prior to vehicle handover
  • Carry out road testing where necessary

About You: To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar role as either a fully qualified or part-qualified technician. A full UK driving licence is essential, as road testing may be required.

We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join Listers. As a minimum, you will hold or be working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
