About the role:
We are now recruiting for a Master Data Executive which plays a key role within our business, ensuring timely and accurate data maintenance within a controlled Data Governance framework, spanning create, change, inactive and data profiling and modelling.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain master data across SAP and other business systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data and associated hierarchies.
- Coordinate product, packaging, BOM and formulation data creation, ensuring information meets business requirements and industry standards, including GS1 compliance.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements to increase data quality and operational efficiency.
- Perform data maintenance, validation, and cleansing activities, ensuring business-critical systems contain accurate, reliable, and up-to-date information.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the business, IT, and project functions to align master data standards and support effective system operations.
- Monitor and report on master data performance, providing regular updates, insights, and progress reports to stakeholders and project teams.
- Support key initiatives by handling testing, implementation, user training, and continued assistance to encourage business adoption and organisational change.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience in Master Data Management or a similar Shared Services, Supply Chain, or Finance role.
- Solid SAP MM knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of supply chain data, including BOMs, recipes, procurement, costing, and production processes.
- Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Visio.
- Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Good attention to detail, structured approach, and problem-solving capability.
- Understanding of master data governance and data quality best practices.
- Accountable, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality work first time.
