You’ll be part of a tight-knit team delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance on solar PV systems across commercial, industrial, and high-end residential sites. You’ll work independently, travelling site-to-site (vehicle provided), taking ownership of installations, maintenance and fault-finding work, with overtime and training opportunities available. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced electrical engineer with solar experience who wants long-term career development in a forward-thinking company. The person
- Qualified electrician with 18th Edition and 2391 (or equivalent)
- 2+ years’ experience maintaining or installing solar PV systems
- Excellent fault-finding, testing and inspection skills
- Strong communicator with a professional, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working independently and managing their own schedule
The role
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across residential, commercial, and industrial solar PV systems
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting across inverters, modules, and electrical components
- Managing documentation, site reports, and risk assessments to ensure compliance
- Working across sites mainly in the South East, with occasional travel to Scotland and Devon (hotel covered)
- Leading and delivering small projects and system upgrades with minimal supervision
