As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We're looking for a dedicated Structures Technician to join our Structures and Pavements division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
In this role, you'll need the confidence to undertake structural investigations, pavement and utility coring works while maintaining high health & safety and quality standards. Previous site-based experience is beneficial to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Carry out structural investigations on buildings, bridges, car parks
- Carry out pavement investigations including FWD, coring, trial pits and DCPs
- Liaison with clients
- Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors
- Equipment calibration and maintenance
- Maintain company profile at all times
Objectives:
- Timely completion of tasks
- Accuracy of testing and associated administration and attention to detail
- Adherence to all HSE requirements taking personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others at all times
- Adherence to all quality control procedures
Qualifications Competencies:
- Willing to comply with test procedures/standards, quality and health & safety requirements
- Ability to motivate self and team members to achievement of goals
- Reliable and diligent with a flexible approach to work
- Willing to learn
