A nationwide service provider to the vehicle fleet industry with an enviable reputation spanning 50 years is now looking for a HGV Class 1 Shunter to join their centre of excellence depot on a permanent basis based in Oldbury.
You will work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
As a Shunter Driver you will be responsible for:
- Moving and positioning vehicles safely within the depot, yard and holding bays
- Couple and uncouple
- Multiple trailer movements per shift including communicating with other team members to ensure movements are carried out safely
- Checking for and reporting on any damages to vehicles
This position would suit an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver who is now looking to come off the road and work less sociable hours and looking for more of a work / life balance or someone who has previously held a Class 1 licence and is looking to utilise their driving skills.
