M4 Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established international logistics and fulfilment business based in Colnbrook. We are looking for an experienced Night Operations Supervisor to join a fast-paced warehouse operation, leading teams to deliver outstanding service, operational efficiency and compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious warehouse or logistics supervisor looking to progress within a growing organisation.

Working Hours

  • Probation (First 3 Months): Monday to Friday, 6am start
  • After Successful Probation: Saturday to Wednesday, 9pm start

The Role

As Night Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation during your shift, ensuring customer shipments are processed safely, accurately and within agreed service levels. Working closely with the Operations Management team, you will lead and motivate operational colleagues while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse and fulfilment operations.
  • Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Allocate labour effectively to meet operational demands.
  • Escalate operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams.
  • Conduct daily shift briefings and handovers.
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping and performance.
  • Coach, mentor and support employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, security, GDPR and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Carry out warehouse safety inspections and promote a positive safety culture.

What We're Looking For:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including email communication.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Desirable Logistics industry experience.
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
  • Security awareness.
  • Dangerous Goods knowledge.
  • Forklift licence.
  • First Aid qualification.
