Our client, a leading Tier 1 main contractor, is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major £90m refurbishment project in Oxford.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work alongside the Managing QS, taking commercial responsibility for key elements of the project from procurement through to final account.
Key
Responsibilities: Manage subcontract procurement and accounts.
Produce CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.
Manage valuations, variations and change control.
Manage commercial risk and final accounts.
Work closely with the client, project team and supply chain.
Requirements: Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
Strong JCT, procurement, CVR and final account experience.
Able to manage projects or major packages with minimal supervision.
Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Refurbishment, commercial, healthcare, education or life sciences experience would be beneficial.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role offers a salary of £90,000 - £100,000 plus package and bonus , with the opportunity to work on a major technically complex project and progress towards Managing Quantity Surveyor level.
