Established Hotel | Restaurant, Bar & Events Operation

JWR is recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join a well-established hotel with a busy and diverse F&B operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong hotel F&B operator who enjoys being visible within the business, leading from the front and developing a team while driving service standards and commercial performance.

The Role

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the hotel's restaurant, bar, conference, banqueting and events operation, ensuring consistently high standards across all areas.

  • Leading and developing the Food & Beverage team
  • Overseeing restaurant, bar, conference, banqueting and event operations
  • Driving guest satisfaction and consistently high service standards
  • Managing labour, stock, GP and departmental costs
  • Maximising F&B revenue and identifying commercial opportunities
  • Recruiting, training and developing the team
  • Managing rotas effectively in line with business levels
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and wider hotel management team
  • Ensuring all health & safety, food hygiene and licensing standards are maintained
  • Supporting weddings, conferences, functions and large events
  • Delivering departmental budgets, forecasts and KPIs

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager, Assistant F&B Manager, Restaurant & Bar Manager or Conference & Banqueting Manager ready for their next career move. You will ideally have:

  • Previous hotel Food & Beverage management experience
  • Experience within a busy restaurant, bar and events environment
  • Strong conference and banqueting experience
  • Excellent people leadership and team development skills
  • Good commercial awareness with an understanding of F&B costs, payroll and profitability
  • A hands-on and highly visible management style
  • Strong guest service standards
  • The ability to manage a busy operation and multiple F&B outlets
