Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Skelmersdale. The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with an average of 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.
Rates of Pay:
- Day rate: £17.85 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies)
- Afternoon rate: £20.19 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies)
- Night rate: £21.55 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies)
- Overtime after 45 hours: £24.44 p/h (day), £27.11 p/h (afternoon), £28.47 p/h (night)
In addition to the rates, you will accrue holiday pay. Additional Information: Paid assessment is required. Fully paid breaks. Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.
You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
- HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
- At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver
- Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred
- Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
