Creative Support are looking for a compassionate, positive and creative individual to join our supportive and dedicated learning disability support team in Pontesbury. We would love to hear from people who have the genuine passion and drive to want to make a positive difference in people's lives. We welcome people with a wide range of previous experience or no experience at all, as our superb training and induction process will give all successful applicants the best, appropriate level of support.
The successful candidate will be supporting an engaging blind lady with learning disabilities and a range of interests. The lady that uses our service enjoys a variety of activities from shopping, afternoon tea, music, trips out visiting new places and chatting the day away. If you think you would be a great addition to this caring and nurturing service, we would welcome you to apply!
No two days will be the same whilst supporting this lady within a rural and picturesque Supported Living Service. You will be enabling her to live a fulfilling and independent life at home and out in the community, achieving her own goals and aspirations for life and promoting her emotional well-being. As an integral member of the team, you will also get involved with assisting her with day to day living duties, such as budgeting, shopping, and supporting with medication and any personal care she may require.
A clean UK driving license is a requirement for this role. Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
