I am currently recruiting for a talented Head Chef for a stunning luxury country house hotel in rural Shropshire. This is a busy, quality-led operation offering seasonal British food, restaurant dining, afternoon teas, weddings and events, with a strong focus on fresh local produce and ingredients grown within the estate.

We are looking for a confident, hands-on chef who can lead the brigade, maintain consistently high standards and continue developing the food offering. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef experience
  • A background within quality hotels, restaurants or country house properties
  • Rosette-level experience
  • Strong fresh-food and seasonal menu experience
  • Experience with weddings, functions and events
  • Excellent kitchen management and team leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of GP, costing, stock control and kitchen profitability
