About the role
We're looking for a patient, adaptable and positive Female Support Worker to join our teams in Shrewsbury (SY2).
This is a unique role where you'll support individuals across several nearby services (within a two-minute walk), offering variety while still building strong, consistent relationships.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support across multiple settings.
Who you will be supporting
You'll support four adults (two men and two women in their 30s) with a range of needs, including:
- Cerebral palsy
- Down's syndrome
- Autism
- Learning disabilities
Support includes
- 1:1 support
- Personal care (for one individual)
- Mobility support (including an electric wheelchair user)
- Medication administration (for three individuals)
- Monitoring dysphagia for one person
This is a role where attention to detail, consistency and understanding individual needs is essential.

You'll provide varied and meaningful support, including
- Supporting daily routines and independence
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting mobility and health needs
- Administering medication and following care plans
- Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement
- Working across services while maintaining consistent, person-centred support
- Building strong relationships with individuals, families and colleagues

Shift patterns
This is a 37.5-hour role with flexible shifts, including
- Sleep-ins: 10:00pm - 8:00am (£50 paid to sleep)
