If youre a Multi-Skilled Engineer who likes fixing things before someone suggests turning the machine off and back on again, this might be worth a look.
Were recruiting for an established FMCG manufacturing business east of Glasgow looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team.
Its a busy, fast-paced production environment, so youll be working across a mix of electrical and mechanical maintenance , keeping machinery running, responding to breakdowns and helping improve reliability across the site.
What youll be doing Planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns quickly
Working with motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, pumps and associated equipment
Supporting PPM schedules and reducing repeat failures
Identifying reliability and continuous improvement opportunities
Working closely with production to minimise downtime
Maintaining high standards of health & safety
What were looking for Youll ideally be a time-served / qualified Maintenance Engineer with experience in an FMCG, food, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced production environment.
You should be comfortable working across both electrical and mechanical systems, although engineers with a stronger bias in either discipline will still be considered.
Most importantly, youll be someone who can fault-find properly rather than just replace parts until the machine starts working again. You should be time-served in a relevant engineering discipline.
Whats on offer A permanent position with an established manufacturer, competitive package and the opportunity to join a busy engineering team where youll actually get to engineer things.
