Multi-Skilled CNC Miller – Permanent Salary: depending on experience

Hours: 38 hours per week, rotating shifts
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled CNC Miller to join an established engineering business.
The successful candidate will have strong 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling experience , with the ability to set and operate machines using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls .
Key Responsibilities Set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Read and understand CNC programmes
Adjust offsets and coordinates
Carry out quality checks and ensure components meet specifications
Deburr and fettle components
Troubleshoot machine issues where required
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Follow 5S, health & safety and company procedures
Work as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar CNC milling role
Strong experience with multi-axis CNC milling
Knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
Good understanding of engineering drawings and CNC programmes
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ/NCQ or equivalent
Right to work in the UK
Shift Pattern 2 weeks early: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm, Friday 6:00am–1:00pm
2 weeks late: Monday–Thursday 2:30pm–12:30am
30-minute unpaid break on each shift.
