We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturer looking for a driven leader to oversee production operations and help deliver exceptional standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate and develop production teams to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure production schedules are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality and hygiene.
- Work closely with Technical, Engineering, Planning and Supply Chain teams to optimise performance.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and company procedures.
- Manage staffing levels, performance, training and succession planning.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with relevant food manufacturing standards.
- Previous experience as a Production Manager within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, production planning and continuous improvement projects.
- Good understanding of food safety, HACCP and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
