An exciting opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a well-established food and drink manufacturer in Somerset. Operating within a fast-paced production environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving a wide range of automated processing and packaging equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and production performance.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong electrical focus, combining reactive breakdown support, planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities. Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Engineer:- Multi-Skilled Maintenance experience with a strong electrical bias.
- Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous FMCG manufacturing experience.
- Electrical fault finding.
- PLC fault finding.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Reactive breakdown maintenance.
- Inverters, motors and sensors.
- Reading electrical drawings.
- Continuous Improvement.
- Production machinery maintenance.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Food or drink manufacturing experience.
- High-speed production line experience.
- Mechanical fault-finding experience.
