Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are looking for a Transport & Plant Manager Co-ordinator for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.

  • Immediate start available (subject to interview process
  • Salary is £38,000.00 per annum (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities
  • Fleet

Management: Coordinate and manage approximately 6 to 9 HGVs/trucks.

Plant

Oversight: Look after on-site plant machinery, including 3 mobile cranes, 1 forklift truck, 1 telehandler, and 1 Bobcat.

Driver

Liaison: Work directly with drivers, offering support with your strong knowledge of repairing plant machinery and trucks.

Tyre

Control: Build and execute an efficient system for tyre control, assessing what can be repaired, scrapped, or replaced to manage tyre spending effectively.

Administration & Reporting: Oversee daily transport paperwork and prepare diligent reports for submission to the Director.

Team

Collaboration: Work closely with the Director and other internal departments to keep daily tasks organized and completed on time.

Requirements

Certification: You must hold a valid Transport Manager CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).

Mindset: An agile, price-conscious approach to making smart business decisions.

Experience: Strong hands-on knowledge of fleet operations and plant maintenance.
