We work with firms of all sizes, placing accountancy professionals at every level from newly qualified through to senior leadership.

We do things differently here.

Relationship-building is at the heart of everything we do.

You won't find us blasting out generic Linked In posts or firing off mass emails to thousands of people.

We take the time to truly understand both our candidates and our clients, and we believe that's what sets us apart.

The Role This is a candidate-focused recruitment consultant position, supporting the owner of the business directly.

This is not a sales-heavy role your primary responsibility will be identifying, engaging, and building meaningful relationships with accountancy professionals across Yorkshire.

You will be the first point of contact for many candidates on their career journey, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Every candidate we work with is met face to face, giving us a genuine understanding of their ambitions, values, and what the right next step looks like for them.

What You'll Be Doing Proactively sourcing and identifying candidates within the Public Practice accountancy space Reaching out to candidates in a thoughtful, personalised way quality over quantity, always Conducting face-to-face candidate meetings to build strong, lasting relationships Developing a deep understanding of each candidate's career goals and motivations Maintaining and growing a candidate network across Yorkshire Supporting the business owner with day-to-day recruitment activity Keeping accurate and up-to-date candidate records What We're Looking For Experience in recruitment, resourcing, or a candidate-facing role (experience in accountancy or professional services recruitment would be a bonus, but is not essential) A genuine people person who values conversation over automation Someone who takes pride in doing things properly, not just quickly Comfortable working independently in a small, close-knit team Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload Happy to travel across Yorkshire for candidate meetings when required What's On Offer Hybrid working a mix of home and office Flexible start and finish times The chance to genuinely make a role your own within a growing boutique agency Direct exposure to all areas of the business, working closely with the owner A supportive, non-corporate environment where your work actually makes a difference Interested?

If this sounds like the kind of role you've been looking for one where relationships matter more than metrics we'd love to hear from you.
