ST TALENT is recruiting on behalf of an established and growing retail business based near Sheffield. We are seeking a commercially minded Marketing Executive to take ownership of the company's digital marketing strategy, with a particular focus on PPC, SEO, website optimisation, and online marketplace performance.

The Role
As Marketing Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that increase website traffic, improve online visibility, and drive revenue across multiple sales channels. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey and maximise the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's PPC strategy across platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Manage and optimise SEO strategy, improving organic search rankings and website performance.
- Take ownership of website content, user experience, and conversion rate optimisation.
- Develop strategies to grow sales across online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Monitor website analytics, campaign performance, and customer behaviour, making data-led recommendations for improvement.
- Plan, deliver, and optimise paid digital campaigns to maximise return on investment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across digital channels.
- Support email marketing campaigns and wider digital communications.
- Manage digital content updates and ensure the website reflects current products, promotions, and brand messaging.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, search engine updates, and marketplace best practices.
- Produce regular performance reports and present insights to support future marketing activity.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic digital marketer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering measurable results. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Marketing Executive or Digital Marketing role.
- Strong knowledge of PPC campaign management and optimisation.
- Proven experience developing SEO strategies and improving organic performance.
- Experience managing and optimising e-commerce websites.
- Knowledge of online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and other digital marketing tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to recommend new ideas and improvements.
