As they continue their upward trajectory, we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic part qualified Finance Officer to join their team. Based in their Sheffield headquarters, you'll play a critical role in the company's financial operations and continue your studies under the mentorship of experienced finance professionals.
As a vital member of the finance team, your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and managing Accounts Payable and Receivables to ensure smooth financial operations
Supporting monthly and quarterly financial closings, including handling accruals and journals
Assisting in the preparation of quarterly financial reports to provide valuable insights for partners
Managing employee expenses and prepayment cards, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Keeping the ERP system updated with new transactions and ensuring data integrity
Engaging in a variety of financial tasks to support the department's objectives
In this dynamic role, we're seeking someone who embodies:
Part qualified status (ACCA or CIMA) with a commitment to completing your studies
Solid double entry bookkeeping experience and a sound understanding of core accounting principles
Strong numerical and analytical skills to tackle challenges with precision
A flair for organisation with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
A proactive approach and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
An eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a unique and visionary team
