Are you a Field Service Engineer with experience servicing mechanical or electrical equipment, looking to join a specialist engineering company who provide excellent overtime, autonomy, and ongoing technical development? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business that provides servicing, repair, calibration, and installation of weighing equipment across sectors including waste management, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and laboratories.
In this role, you'll attend customer sites carrying out servicing, breakdown repairs, fault finding, calibration, and planned maintenance on a wide variety of weighing equipment, from precision laboratory scales through to large industrial weighbridges. You'll work independently while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest engineering standards.
The ideal candidate will have previous field service experience working on mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical equipment and enjoy a customer-facing engineering role.
The Role:
- Service, repair, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment
- Fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- Working on equipment from handheld scales through to industrial weighbridges
- Field-based role covering customer sites across the region
- Providing excellent technical support and customer service
- Completing service documentation and calibration records
The Person:
- Previous Field Service Engineer experience
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical engineering background
- Full UK driving licence
