The Role:

My client is a growing company based in Dinnington who I am working closely to grow the management team. They are seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will be involved from the tender stage, attending pre-start meetings, reviewing tender documentation, assisting with pricing and then overseeing projects throughout delivery. As the company continues to expand, you'll work closely with the Directors, taking ownership of your own projects while helping to relieve the workload across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend tender meetings and review tender documentation.
  • Assist with estimating, quotations and tender submissions.
  • Manage projects from award through to completion.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Control project budgets, cost tracking and variations.
  • Produce and maintain project cost reports using Excel.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate labour, materials and programme delivery.
  • Conduct regular site visits and client meetings.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Support commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation and handover.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Electrical Qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • ECS / CSCS Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
