Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals for residents daily.
- Adapt recipes to meet individual dietary requirements, allergies, and preference requests.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all food prep areas.
- Assist with stock rotation, food prep, and kitchen maintenance.
Requirements
- Essential: Previous experience cooking in a residential care home, nursing facility, or similar care setting.
- Relevant Food Hygiene certification.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements common in care environments (e.g., modified textures, diabetic diets).
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable attitude.
