Operationally lead the curriculum support team and the Silver Plate restaurant.
Lead the day-to-day operational running of the catering support function and the Silver Plate restaurant, in line with the curriculum offer and the curriculum team.
Work with the Kitchen and Stores Team Leader to ensure that the food stock and equipment costs, within the curriculum area are in line with budgetary constraints.
Ensure controls are in place to ensure that financial returns are completed in order to meet internal financial deadlines liaise with finance to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. This role is responsible for the efficient operation and financial management of the Curriculum support function and the Silver Plate restaurant where a significant level of professional autonomy, independent decision making and proactiveness is required. You will manage and develop a skilled team whose focus will be to ensure that a lively and vibrant student workshop environment is maintained and developed in line with awarding body requirements and recent industrial practices.
You will work closely with the Academy Director for Events Hospitality and Food technologies in order to oversee the Kitchen and Stores Team Leader, the curriculum support staff and the Silver Plate restaurant coordinators ensuring that this is in line with the needs of the curriculum area and that financial targets are being met whilst also ensuring that all legal obligations are compliant.
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £36,193.00 - £41,800.00 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
