The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. We have high aspirations and standards for ourselves, and our learners and this role will be a key one in supporting the college's mission to be consistently great and ensure our students get the qualifications and skills they need to go further in employment, careers, apprenticeships, further training and university level courses. This role will specifically support our ambitions for growth and ensuring high quality in our technical further education and skills provision. Responsible for ensuring that all students achieve their potential and continue to develop work related skills whilst at the college and improving and maintaining the quality of provision in the Academy.

Key Objectives:

  • Improving and maintaining the quality of the provision in the academy so that it is rated at least Good by OFSTED or self-assessed to be at least Good by the college.
  • Improving student outcomes on all study programme aspects so that pass rates are maintained at or above National Rates.
  • Ensuring that Academy growth targets are met, in line with the college's strategy (to 2025).
  • Lead the achievement of Academy KPIs, including growth and efficiency targets as set during the college's annual Business Planning process.

As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £54,028 - £62,633 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
