Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 17:00, Friday 07:00 - 16:30. Contract: Permanent Opportunity.

Pertemps are recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company that specialises in producing high-quality bespoke PVC and canvas products for customers across a range of industries.

Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture a variety of interior and exterior fabric products to customer specifications. This permanent opportunity would suit an experienced Sewing Machinist with previous industrial sewing experience who is looking for long-term stability with a successful and established Bristol employer. Key Duties
  • Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture bespoke products.
  • Working with PVC, canvas and other heavy-duty materials.
  • Producing interior and exterior fabric products to customer specifications.
  • Following production instructions and meeting quality standards.
  • Conducting basic machine checks and reporting faults where necessary.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area.
  • Working with the wider team to achieve production targets.
  • Ensuring products are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is essential.
  • Experience working with PVC, canvas or heavy-duty materials is advantageous.
