We're now looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our team, supporting customers across High Wycombe, Welwyn Garden City and the Home Counties.
Service Engineer - The Role
As a Service Engineer, no two days are the same.
You'll fine-tune bi-fold doors, resolve conservatory roof leaks, replace glazing and carry out repairs that leave customers delighted.
You'll be the face of Hazlemere after installation, ensuring every product performs exactly as it should.
You'll combine technical expertise with practical problem-solving and genuine pride in delivering work of the highest quality.
You'll keep customers informed throughout every visit and maintain accurate records while communicating effectively with colleagues.
Service Engineer - Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues on Hazlemere products within the warranty period
- Carry out service and repair work on conservatories, windows, doors and glazed living spaces
- Install replacement sealed units, sashes and door slabs
- Adjust windows and doors to ensure smooth, secure operation
- Replace hardware including hinges, handles, locks and other components
- Identify and rectify conservatory roof leaks and associated remedial works
- Ensure every repair is completed safely, professionally and to Hazlemere's exacting standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service, keeping customers informed throughout every visit
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Service Engineer - About You
- You'll be someone who takes real pride in doing a job properly.
You're practical, reliable and understand that the smallest adjustment can make a huge difference to a customer's experience
- Previous experience as a Window, Door or Conservatory Installer or Service Engineer
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A professional, courteous and customer-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a wider team
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The confidence to use your initiative and make sound decisions on site
